Keeping distance during The Dutch Masters with 'Bubble' from Bestronics

The organisation of The Dutch Masters does everything to protect all participants and staff during the event. When early this year it was announced that the event would take place behind closed doors, the high-tech electronics company Bestronics came forward with its latest innovation, the Bubble.

The Bubble is a wearable sensor that emits a light and a subtle vibration when wearers from different bubbles come too close to each other, i.e. within 1.5 metres. The sensor rewards them with a pleasant signal when they get enough distance again. For example, a rider and groom form such a bubble. Everyone, riders, grooms and staff, who is present at The Dutch Masters gets a Bubble. In July 2020 the Bubble won the 1.5m Innovation Challenge of MKB-Nederland and VNO-NCW.

Bestronics from Veldhoven is the company of Anton and Hans van Limpt that focuses on the industrial and electronics market. In 2019, they were named Entrepreneurs of the Year by the WTC-E Business Society. The brothers have been avid visitors of The Dutch Masters for years and wanted to contribute. This became the Bubble and a complete support team during the event and also resulted in a further cooperation. Bestronics will join The Dutch Masters as a partner for the next three editions.
