The very first top dressage riders have signed up for The Dutch Masters, which will take place from 12 to 15 March 2026 in ’s‑Hertogenbosch. The Dutch Masters is the final qualifier for the World Cup Final held in April in Fort Worth, Texas (USA). A spectacular showcase of elite sport and beautiful music awaits us!
Charlotte Fry – the fearless reigning world champio
The winner of last year’s FEI Dressage World Cup Freestyle, Charlotte Fry, returns to defend her title. She is in top form: in December 2025 she captured the World Cup qualification in London and recently also in Amsterdam, both times aboard her impressive stallion Glamourdale. Moreover, the rider who celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday is automatically qualified for the Final after winning the Final last year in Basel (Switzerland).
Dutch delegation – strong and ambitious
Marieke van der Putten currently leads the Dutch riders in the World Cup standings with an impressive fourth place. Together with her horse Zantana, the 43‑year‑old rider from Groesbeek is on a clear upward trajectory.
“In Amsterdam we were the best Dutch combination, but I don’t focus much on the ranking. Zantana is an enormously talented horse; once I keep her energy under control in the arena, I have no worries. We’re continuing our upward trend and look forward to carrying it forward in ’s‑Hertogenbosch!”
Dinja van Liere brings a fresh breeze with her 13-year-old KWPN stallion Imposantos. She has been working intensively together for a year and a half and feels they are becoming a true team.
“It’s different to take over a slightly older horse than to train a young horse from scratch, but by training together every day we get to know each other better and better. Whether it’s a training session or an outdoor ride, I’m very mindful of him. I hope he stays focused at The Dutch Masters and that we can ride through the test relaxed. I’m not overly worried about the exercises themselves – he always gives his best in the arena!”
The FEI Dressage World Cup™ Grand Prix, presented by RS2 Dressage will be held on Friday, 13 March at 14:00, and the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Kür on Music, presented by Equestic can be watched on Saturday afternoon, 14 March at 14:00.
