Fabiënne Raijmakers Wins Decisively with Z2 Ponies

For the Raijmakers family, The Dutch Masters is an edition not soon to be forgotten. While Piet Raijmakers Jr. had already achieved several top placements this weekend, it was now his niece Fabiënne Raijmakers' turn to shine. With her eight-year-old pony Wrong is Right, she convincingly rode to victory in the Z2 freestyle to music.

For Fabiënne, riding in the Brabanthallen has become familiar territory by now. Eight years ago she made her debut here in the Bixie classes, and now she appears on the same stage in the Z2 class. A beautiful development that she has gone through together with Wrong is Right.

"We received him as a yearling and I trained him myself," says the winner proudly. "Everything actually went very well today. Apart from a few small mistakes, the test ran as we practiced it at home. I think Wrong is Right is truly a super fun pony and I'm very happy with him." The jury awarded Raijmakers' freestyle a strong score of 75.542%, more than three percent higher than that of the direct competition.

Second place went to Diede Heuvelman, who showed a neat test with the ten-year-old Bünteeichen Vivaldo. Vanity Hus completed the podium with Goldwinshoeve Vuego.
