Jan van Beek wins Indoor Eventing
It was an all new class at Indoor Brabant, the Indoor Eventing competition. And it was a big hit. The crowd cheered and went wild. At the end it was Holland’s Jan van Beek who took victory with Vamp du Monselet in 116.13 seconds. The runner-up spot was for Belgium’s international Joris Vanspringel with Fyona vd Holtakkers in 121.70 seconds (0.8 penalty). Third place went to Tim Lips with Brent (127.26/3.2).
Afterwards national eventing coach Martin Lips said: “The public really enjoyed the class this evening. The speed the riders and their horses show is impressive to the public. For our sport Indoor Brabant is a great platform. In this way we can promote our beautiful and spectacular sport to a wider audience. For me it is absolutely worth repeating.”
