Eventers open 50th edition
The 50th edition of Indoor Brabant will be opened on Thursday with a competitions for eventers at 7pm. This competition was introduced in 2016 and the public was real enthusiastic about this spectacular class. The eventers will jump a course with 'normal' fences and some natural fences which are build in the arena of the Brabanthal and in the neighbouring paddock. In total 12 riders from four countries will compete in this class.
The Netherlands is represented by Tim Lips, who competed for the Netherlands at three Olympic Games, two World Championships and five European Championships. Highlight was the team bronze medal at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Caen, France. He is joined by Raf Kooremans, Ilonka Kluytmans, Nienke van Roekel, Theo van de Vendel and Jordy Wilken. Belgium is sending four riders: Virginie Caulier, Wouter De Cleene, Lara De Liedekerke-Meier and Lisa Sabbe. Germany's Kai-Steffen Meier and Sweden's Christoffer Forsberg make the line-up complete.
