Isabell Werth wins FEI World Cup Grand Prix

Emmelie Scholten finished third in the FEI World Cup Grand Prix with Indian Rock. The TeamNL rider from Gorinchem had to beat Germany's Isabell Werth and Brabant-based British Charlotte Fry on the podium. Werth rode her 14-year-old gelding DSP Quantaz to a percentage of 75.782%, while Fry scored 74.152% with her KWPN stallion Everdale. Marieke van der Putten finished seventh in the class adopted by her sponsor RS2 Dressage with Torveslettens Titanium RS2 N.O.P.

Emmelie's stallion Indian Rock impressed with his powerful appearance and with his passages and good trotting moments. Unfortunately, they missed some points in the canter changes every two paces. Otherwise, the score would certainly have been higher. On Saturday, they will surely go for a higher ranking, just like three weeks ago in Neumunster where they won the World Cup competition.
