Charlotte Fry sets the tone in FEI Dressage World Cup presented by RS2 Dressage

Great Britain held the best cards in the FEI Dressage World Cup Grand Prix. Charlotte Fry stayed ahead of compatriot Becky Moody on Jagerbomb with Glamourdale. Belgian revelation Justin Verboomen surprised with a handsome third place on Zonik Plus.
After Fry's second place in the 3* Equilibrium Prize with Nespresso, it was now Glamourdale's moment to shine in the 5*. A good start to the weekend for the British rider: ‘I really enjoyed it! Glammie gave perhaps the best feeling ever. He was happy, focused and so easy and light. We had some unnecessary mistakes, so hopefully we can iron those out on Sunday. The Freestyle is our favourite, so I can't wait!’
Becky Moody confirmed the British supremacy with a strong 75.59%, while Justin Verboomen and his only nine-year-old stallion Zonik Plus closed out the top three with 74.65%. The Belgian emerged as one of the crowd favourites and managed to keep behind multiple World Cup winner Isabell Werth, among others.
The best Dutch result came from Marlies van Baalen. The rider sent her 13-year-old Habibi DVB N.O.P. to 69.63%, good for a top-ten position.
